Twitter (X) character counter

X doesn't count characters one-to-one. It uses a weighted length: Latin letters, digits and common punctuation weigh 1; Chinese, Japanese, Korean and emoji weigh 2; every URL counts as 23 no matter how long. The total must be ≤ 280.
